medical and educational institutions, nurturing environment, beautifying
the community, are some of its significant and regular activities.

Chandra Green Projects is one such social activities, that has
joined hand with Kolkata Municipal Corporation for beautification
of the parks and gardens of Kolkata. As a part of Green Projects,
P.C. Chandra has been sponsoring the Annual Flower & Vegetable
Show of Suburban Agri Horticultural Society. It has also been
organizing events to promote the cultural heritage of India. With
the help of events like music concerts and talent search. Dover
Lane Music Conference and Uttarpara Sangeet Conference. It also
encourages sports at national and regional level. Cricket and
Football tournaments are some of its important activities. Other
milestones have been sponsorship of the Journalism Congress and
the National Integration Congress as well as awards for excellence
in journalism, literature and classical music.
